Genevieve Howell is an actress, writer and producer based in Los Angeles, originally from the Pacific Northwest. Her work focuses on intimate, character-driven stories, often exploring themes of identity, longing, and transformation.

She recently wrote, produced, and starred in the short film Love Sonnet (2025) which has won multiple awards including, Best Screenplay of the Year at the San Diego Short Film Festival, Best Los Angeles Short Film at LA Short Film Festival, Best International Short Film at Rome International Short Film Festival, and earned multiple other wins and nominations, including Best Actress.

Genevieve has trained extensively in the Meisner Technique with two of Sanford Meisner’s only protégés, Robert Carnegie and Jim Jarrett, at Playhouse West Repertory Theater and The Meisner Technique Studio. She has also studied sketch comedy and improvisation at UCB Theatre and The Second City.

She is currently developing a feature film and resides in Los Angeles with her cat, Sunny.
